Videographer Specializing in Social Media Content and Promotion

I. Statement of Purpose
The Connecticut Talent Assistance Cooperative, Inc. (CONNTAC, Inc.) in Meriden, CT seeks proposals from a videographer/social media content consultant to provide direction support and creation of video products to market and highlight program services. The intent for videos to published on social media platforms. Content to include but not limited to:
- Overview of CONNTAC, Inc. services
- History of CONNTAC, Board of Directors and staff members
- Highlight of current and past scholarship recipients
- Highlight of past and current supporters of CONNTAC
Preferred applicants will: have relevant experience working with organizations and or nonprofit entities preparing videos for marketing and social media content.
Organization Mission & Historic Outcome
CONNTAC, Inc. is a statewide collaborative, private, non-profit 501c3 higher education support program. For over 50 years, the organization’s overarching mission has been to promote and expand educational access and opportunity for Connecticut residents. III. Term of Contract
The contract seeks bidders to provide a proposal no later than July 8, 2020. Work will begin on or before July 22, 2020. Completion of the work will occur no later than September 11, 2020. Payments will be provided in 3 installments. One third of the project cost to initiate the project. Second installment determined after contract initiated. Full payment to the selected bidder will occurs after required work has been prepared, submitted and an invoice has been received.
VI. Cost Proposal
Bidders should submit a project price, include each service and detail fee schedule. Selected proposers will be paid after all information has been prepared, submitted, and an invoice has been received. Any adjustments after submission is considered a part of the original scope of work for the term of contract. Additional expenditures or other services identified outside of the scope of this proposal must be preapproved.
VII. Proposal Contents
Please use the following format when preparing your response. Please limit the proposal to three pages, excluding attachments.
Section 2: Scope of work/description of services and approach to videography and social media content. Samples of work, video link or reference social media projects they have produced.
Section 3: Firm’s qualifications: Summary of previous or similar work as described and outlined in I. Statement of Purpose .
Section 4: Attachments:
A. Cost Proposal: Budget and narrative
B. Resumes: For key personnel working on this project
C. Professional References: The name and current contact information ONLY (no letters needed) of at least 3 references for which proposer has performed similar work
D. Other: Proposers may include a brief sample of their work, or other materials to demonstrate their capabilities to complete the work, not more than 3 additional pages.
VIII. Selection Process
Proposals will be reviewed for: completeness, proposer experience, experience with similar work, feedback from references, and reasonableness of cost proposal. Proposers may be contacted for an interview.
IX. Proposal Submission
Complete proposals are due by 4:00 pm EST on Wednesday July 8, 2020. All bidders will receive written notification of the status of their submission. Work is expected to begin on or before July 22, 2020.
