The CONNTAC, Inc. Board of Directors offers a scholarship to outstanding participants who have overcome obstacles in order to obtain a higher education. This scholarship is awarded to low-income residents who are the first in their families to pursue a postsecondary education. The awardees of the scholarship are selected by the scholarship committee based on their income status, personal statement and letters of
recommendation. In the 2006-2007 fiscal year, CONNTAC, Inc. awarded $10,000.00 in scholarships to ten Connecticut residents.
